Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Boreal Spins Studios Inc. ("Boreal Spins", "we", "us", "our"), incorporated in the Province of Ontario, governing your access to and use of the Boreal Spins website, mobile applications, in-game features, community channels, and any related services we operate (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, pulling a single reel, opening any promotional email, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Sweepstakes Rules, and Responsible Play Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in-app for thirty days before they take effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be a resident of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) and at least 21 years of age at the time of registration. We verify region on signup using a combination of IP-based detection and a self-declared province field, and we may request supplementary identification at any time to confirm eligibility. Accounts that fail verification are paused and, if not resolved within thirty days, are permanently closed.

You may hold only one Boreal Spins account. Creating multiple accounts, sharing credentials, or allowing another person to play on your behalf is prohibited and is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of any virtual coin balance.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for every activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at [email protected] within twenty-four hours of discovering any unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to safeguard credentials.

Boreal Spins is a free-to-play coin slot lounge. The games offered on the Service do not involve real-money wagering, do not pay out cash or any item of monetary value, and do not provide the opportunity to win real money or anything of monetary value through gameplay.

Virtual coins, virtual chests, reel skins, badges, and any other in-game asset (collectively, "Virtual Items") are licensed to you for use within the Service only. Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be transferred between accounts, cannot be sold or traded outside the Service, and may be modified, replenished, or removed by us at any time without notice.

Practice or success at the games offered on Boreal Spins does not imply future success at real-money gambling. Any resemblance between our reel mechanics and the mechanics of regulated real-money slot machines is for amusement design purposes only.

From time to time we run sweepstakes promotions with non-cash prizes. Every Boreal Spins sweepstakes operates with two methods of entry: an in-game entry earned through ordinary free coin play, and a free mail-in entry described in our Sweepstakes Rules. No purchase is necessary at any point, and a purchase will not improve your chance of winning.

Selected winners must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, as Canadian contest law requires. Prizes are non-cash items, individually capped at CAD $500 in value, and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The complete rules for each promotion are published before it opens.

You agree not to: (a) use automated tools, bots, scripts, scrapers, or any non-human means to interact with the Service; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (c) misrepresent your age, identity, or location; (d) exploit a bug, glitch, or unintended behaviour for personal gain; (e) interfere with the operation of the Service or with other players' use of it; (f) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or harassment; or (g) post content in our community channels that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes a third party's rights.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected breaches of this section, to take corrective action including warnings, balance adjustments, account suspension, and permanent closure, and to cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where appropriate.

All content on the Service — including game art, illustrations, music, sound effects, source code, branding, characters, and written copy — is owned by Boreal Spins Studios Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or licence in our intellectual property except the limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial amusement.

You retain ownership of any content you post in our community channels but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, display, and reproduce that content for the purposes of operating the Service.

You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected] from your registered email or by using the self-exclusion tool in your account settings. Closure is irreversible after fourteen days; the associated virtual coin balance, badges, and reel skins are forfeited.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, for suspected fraud, for failure to verify eligibility, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Where possible, we will provide advance notice and an opportunity to respond.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing a court claim, you agree to first contact us in good faith at [email protected] and attempt informal resolution for at least thirty days.
